The Biology Transfer degree gives students a solid foundation in the basics of science with an emphasis on biology. Students completing the degree will be well prepared to transfer to a four-year program in biology at a college or university.
This program offers the background knowledge and hands-on experience required for the control of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment in commercial buildings with programmable controllers. These systems can also control lighting, security such as door locks and cameras, and building power data. Students will have hands-on experience with EasyIO and Niagara Controllers as well as courses in the Internet of Things and Cisco.
